Lawrence, D. H Annotated Bibliography & Selected Collectible Books

David Herbert Lawrence (published under the pen name D.H. Lawrence) was revered by many as an idealistic thinker and noteworthy archetype of modernism in English literature. Although writing was the basis for Lawrence's overall career, his diverse background as an English novelist, poet, playwright, and essayist paved the way for his career as a literary critic and painter. Lawrence was not always popular for his beliefs, attacking society for the emotional and desensitizing effects of modernization.
