Description: This is a VG, or better, hardcover First Edition copy in decorated tan cloth binding with gold and red stamping on the cover and spine, top edge stained maroon, orange endpapers. In a mylar protected DJ that saved everything but the spine by a liberal application of magic tape. 2.50 flap price. Inscribed by Thornton Wilder on the half title like page. Photos on request.

Description: The first edition, published by Albert and Charles Boni in 1930. Bound in publishers gray cloth. A very good copy of the book with a bit of toning to the spine and a few spots to the rear panel. The dust jacket has a half inch chip to the top of the spine and light chipping elsewhere. This copy has been inscribed - as Thorton - in April of 1930.
