Inside minimal intermittent foxing throughout , more prevalent on first pages, otherwise a lovely copy.

Bound in blue cloth with title stamped in gilt, top edge gilt. Slight ripple to cloth on front board, minor foxing to endpapers, bookplate on verso of front free endpaper; all else about fine. Only partial dust jacket presen: lacks spine panel and is edgeworn and lightly spotted. With the original blue cardboard slipcase, which is heavily rubbed. From the dust jacket: "This book is a description and appreciation of those most exciting and mysterious birds - Wildfowl. It is full of interesting anecdotes and not without humour. He had been a founder of the World Wide Fund for Nature, founded the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (November 1946), and was an influence on international conservation.
