Wainhouse had worked for Olympia Press and was one of the editors of Merlin, publishers of Beckett's "Watt". He was best-known as a translator (of Sade, Bataille, de Beauvoir, etc) and won a National Book Award for translation in 1971. First edition, ordinary paper copy, one of 3000 printed.
