Price: US$250.00 + shipping

Condition: Good

Description: Thirteenth printing. Mass market paperback. This is the complete, unexpurgated Grove Press edition. Inscribed by the author. On the dedication page, Miller has written over the entire page, 8/3/69 NYC My Dear friend Leon---- Henry Miller Miller's sexually explicit novels were banned several times in his lifetime and they continue to incite debate to this day. He died in 1980. This copy appears at first glance to be an unremarkable paperback. The covers are faded with age and the pages are slightly yellowed. Yet, Miller autographed very few books. His works, still in print after forty years, seem certain to remain controversial.
