Description: First trade edition from 1930. Signed, inscribed, and dated by the author on the frontispiece. Grey paper boards quarter bound with grey cloth. Dark grey lettering on cover. Toning to edges of boards and spine; shelf wear to edges with boards exposed at corners; minor scratching and soiling. No dust jacket. Binding is tight. Interior is clean except for a few spots of foxing, mostly to endpapers. Small pen mark on rear pastedown. Some pages remain uncut. Frontispiece is a photogravure of the author taken by Ansel Adams. This book is a collection of 32 poems by California poet John Burton.

Description: Paper-covered boards, lettering stamped in gilt on upper board. Number 25 from a limited edition of 100 copies, signed by the author on the limitation page, and with a frontispiece portrait of the author by Ansel Adams. From the library of Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., with his bookplate on the front paste-down. Additionally inscribed by Burton in the margins of his portrait, to Fairbanks (1909-2000), an American actor (his credits include "Gunga Din") and a highly decorated naval officer of World War II.
