Photography - Klein, William. Tokyo (Signed). Crown Publishers, New York, 1964.

Price: US$900.00 + shipping

Condition: Very Good

Description: Hardbound folio-size volume in dustwrapper. Preface by Maurice Pinguet. First edition of the third volume in Klein's "City" photobooks (Preceded by New York and Rome). 184 pp. Other than the brief preface the book is comprised entirely of large full-page black and white gravure photographs of striking images of daily life in Japan's largest city. A handsome very good copy in dustwrapper. As with many copies we have handled over the years, the dustwrapper suffers from edge-chips, paper loss and creasing. This copy is no exception. Still, a decent example. This copy also benefits from it being SIGNED by Klein on the title page and he has added some Japanese calligraphy adjacent to his signature. A very large and heavy volume. Additional shipping charges may apply.
