Description: Signed, limited edition of Those Were The Days by A. A. Milne Methuen & Co Ltd, London 1929. The editions are limited to 250 copies (no number listed on this book). The volume is the first collection of four of A A Milne's essays and story collections all of which had been previously published separately. ( The Day's Play, The Holiday Round, Once A Week, and The Sunny Side). Original red cloth boards with gilt stamping on the spine and front cover. Sunning to the top edge. Top edge is gilt. Corners are lightly bumped. The contents are clean and few pages seem dog eared. The unclipped dust jacket is in good condition. Browned spine and with pieces missing on edges of the spine affecting the publishers name and the title.  Worn folds. The dust jacket edges are chipped with 1cm closed tears. Corners worn/missing.
