Oates, Joyce Carol. Them. Vanguard Press, 1969.

Price: US$95.00 + shipping

Condition: Very Good

Description: It is painful to have to describe this copy because of the issues it posesses affecting its value and the description given and sold by a reputable book dealer - invoice and description laid in. The book does have glue residue on the rear first free endpaper. Tape residue on the outside front and rear covers. Slightly frayed bottom of spine and two slightly bumped corners. A couple of small spots on the foredge of the textblock and also a few more on the interior of the book. Perhaps the biggest descrepancy is the dustjacket - it obviously has been "married" to this copy of the book, which is not mentioned in the dealer's description. It does have a couple of closed tears at the top of the spine - see image. ; Signed, inscribed and dated by the author on the first front free endpaper. 1st issue DJ with $6.95 present and Barbara Bannon blurb on front flap, as well as Robert Benyas photo credit on rear panel. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 508 pages; Signed by Author
