Description: Sky blue boards with blue cloth to the spine and yellow and black titles. Internally it is clean and tight with just two small marks on the Half Title page. It is signed by the illustrator Quentin Blake, with no inscription, to the Title page. The dusjacket has slight edge wear and some small closed tears. It is not price clipped ($10.95) and the spine has not faded.

'Roald Dahl,' 'Quentin Blake.'" Stated First American Edition, 1983, at copyright. Brilliant blue cloth boards, stylized red metallic spine titles, slight shelf wear. Red metallic vignette of mouse about to feast on beans. Pages very good; no writing. Last couple with slight 1/2" blue bleed from bottom; also fairly faint bleed near gutter of lower exterior text block. Fine matte blue endpapers at front and back. Bind fine, square; hinges intact. Beautiful original yellow slipcase, slight shelf wear; light blue bleed to interior. Dedication page To Liccy. Sharp near fine limited edition.
