Description: First UK Edition signed by Burroughs to the title page in black ink. Excellent copy in clean and bright dust-jacket (price clipped). DJ shows very minor signs of wear - a tiny closed tear to the top of back panel, a tiny beige stain to bottom of spine, mild age-toning throughout with a slightly darker spine. Boards are clean and sharp in red cloth with very minor shelf-wear to spine-edges. Interior pages unmarked, square and clean with some light, even age-toning.

The jacket, designed by John Sewell, has a depiction of a band of wild boys on the front panel.Not price-clipped, the price of 2.50 is intact on the flap. Fine in a near fine or better jacket with just a touch of crimping at the top of the spine. Scarce signed. Ref: Maynard and Miles.
