Description: A signed first edition (L-Y)! Binding tight, boards in good shape. Corners lightly rubbed, spine slightly bumped, with an indent along top board. Page edges soiled. Boards are dark tan with a blue imprint of buffalo hunter and blue text on front and spine. DJ preserved in mylar, has not been price clipped (originally $2.00), a color pictorial jacket by Frank Street . No pieces missing just some chipping and cracking along edges, back has smudges and spine faded slightly. Interior is clean and unmarked except for author signature and inscription on first blank page, the ffep is missing. Boards are very bright.Has a name plate from the original owner on inside front board. Has four b/w plates by E.F. Ward. For its age, book is in great shape. 400 pages, plus two pages of book advertisements.

Description: Stated first edition with the Harper codes L-Y. With four full-page b/w illustrations. Octavo brown pictorial cloth stamped in black. A very good copy with light rubbing at the spine tips, and lacking the dust jacket. This copy INSCRIBED "TO MILDRED FROM ZANE" and dated January 1925. Mildred was Mildred Smith, Grey's secretary and frequent companion. An uncommon title with an important inscription.

Description: First edition, second printing ("L-Z"). 8vo (5 1/4" x 7 5/8"). Dust jacket (unclipped; small chips; back panel soiled). Soiling to top edge. Good-very good. Signed and inscribed by Zane Grey to Lola Gornall on the front free endpaper in his signature purple ink: "To Lola from Zane." Zane Grey first met Lola Gornall, a poet living in Australia in April 1933. Between 1934 and 1938 Grey sent her over 500 letters. When they finally met the sparks flew.
