One leaf with a small smudge that might be a printing flaw; front board with sunning to lower edge; top edge with light dust soiling. In the photo-illustrated dust jacket that shows a hint of rubbing, and age-toning to edges of interior flaps. Price $12.95 intact on front flap. Signed by Burroughs on the title page: "William S. Burroughs" "A Seaver Book" imprint from Viking. According to MAYNARD, Grove announced the The Third Mind would be published in 1970; it was not. However, GOODMAN cites that phantom edition as his item 35. A handsome, clean copy with dust jacket now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve. .
