Description: This is the 171st book issued by the Limited Editions Club (Established in 1929) and is one of a limited edition of 1,500 signed by the illustrator Raymond J. Holden. This is copy # 1292/1500 signed by Holden on the limitation page at the rear of the book, The illustrations were done in the photogravure process from the pencil drawings of the artist. 333 pp. The book is in the original slipcase with paper spine label as is usual with most LEC books. The top seams of the slipcase are split but still holding. Has protected book well. There is also a tissue guard over the artists signature. Green leather binding
