Description: 8vo. Inscribed by Swinburne to Clarence McThwaine, dated 1904, on leaf preceding the title page Vol. 1 Poetry. Bound in black cloth with gilt titles to spines, gilt to top, title pages printed in red and black, photographic frontispieces to some volumes. Cloth rubbed center face of boards and at head and heels of spines, boards with an inward bow, faint yellow residue of bookplate to pastedowns all volumes (no abrasion to paper), some tanning to endpapers and adjacent pages, tanning to tissue guards for plates where present and very lightly to adjacent pages. Light bump to top edges of boards Vols. 3 & 5 Tragedies, 2, 4 & 6 Poetry. Some corners lightly bumped or a little worn.
