Publisher's red cloth, spine and front lettered in gilt; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket, restored. Binding a bit smudged, with wear at extremities; backstrip faded just a shade; lettering tarnished; darkening along front joint, wear at rear. Endpapers and text block slightly yellowed with age; ownership stamp at rear free endpaper. Jacket restored at spine panel, edges, and flap folds, with color added at verso (now starting to flake a bit along panel folds); general rubbing. Very good book in a fair jacket.
