The contents otherwise appear new--i.e., clean and tight like an unread book. Burgundy covers with gilt lettering and decoration on the spine and the upper board. The upper board also has small black-and-white sketch of the author and in gilt a facsimile signature of the author. Slight burgundy line on the pages fore edge near the top. Faint specks on the lower board near the spine head. The burgundy cloth-covered slipcase has a very small area of shelf rubbing on the rear spine edge.
