Description: Large octavo (6-5/8" x 10") bound in full tan saddle leather with title and decorations by Maynard Dixon burnt into the leather. Edited from the author's notebooks by Mason Wade with an introduction by him. Illustrated by Maynard Dixon with pen drawings and paintings in color. Copy #323 of 1500 SIGNED by the illustrator on the colophon page. One of the more fragile books of the press. Light foxing to the endpapers, the text is clean and fresh; mild wear to the corners and the heel of the spine, the head of the spine with a fingernail-sized chip and the remaining leather slightly pulled away.
