Description: Faber & Faber - London. SIGNED - 1st UK Edition stated on copyright page. First printing. 1st issue DJ with 10.95 net intact on flap. 314 pages. 1987. 8vo. SIGNED by Paul Auster without inscription directly to title page. DJ is bright, crisp and Near Fine. Book is VG++, square and tight. Faber produced this on cheaper paper and as is the case with all of these copies, pages have some slight darkening - evenly throughout. The only thing stopping this book from grading higher is that there are some faint white smudges to black cloth which in all likelihood, could probably be wiped clean with a damp towelette. Corner of page edges have a small speck of white. Nicer than it sounds. Signed in person in NYC in 2010. A very nice copy of the NYC cult classic!
