Boldly inscribed, personalized and dated (1993) by the author Anne Rice in black sharpie on the front endpaper. Light glue strip residue under the back paste down parallel to the book hinge as manufactured. Binding is tight and this is overall a very nice solid copy of the true 1st hardback edition of this classic horror novel. DJ has some minor general wear. Some slight age toning to the page block. 8vo; ~ 436 pages.
