On front loose endpaper is the Surrealist bookplate of Andrew Murray. SIGNED by the artist, Edward Ardizzone Signed for Jessica by Edward Ardizzone with love August 1977 . With the pictorial dust wrapper, not clipped ,with minimal wear. Size 187 x 245mm (7.5 x 9.5 inches) Edward Ardizzone. First published 1952, The Little Horse Bus was a children s picture book created by Graham Greene and Dorothy Glover (who published as Dorothy Craigie and illustrated the books). After Glover's death, the book was re-illustrated in by Edward Ardizzone in this 1974 edition. Provenance: Andrew Murray, Director of Mayor Gallery, Cork Street, London. The Mayor Gallery exhibited Ardizzone s work in the 1960 s . Andrew Murray lent his personal collection of books and prints etc. to the travelling exhibition by Middlesbrough Museum in 1982
