Description: Hardcover with DJ. Blue cloth binding with fancy decorations. DJ is creamy yellow with lettering and illustrations. The binding is good and tight and without any flaws worth mentioning. Th DJ is a bit dusty, faded towards tan at the spine. Endpapers at the front are blue/gray, faded at the edges. There are no rear endpapers or any rear blanks; the final page (110) is opposite the blank back cover & it appears that it was bound that way as there is no evidence of anything being removed. Signed on the front endpaper by Maurice Sendak, "For J-- W--, Sept '71, Maurice Sendak." This is a first edition. Please email with questions or to request photos.
