Fading and wear to spine and slight soiling to boards, with minor repair to interior hinges. Interior clean and unmarked. A nice copy of the second volume of stories about Winnie the Pooh, signed by both author and illustrator.

Description: 20 cm; 178, [2] pages, illustrated with pen-and-ink drawings by Shepard throughout. In salmon cloth ruled in gilt, with gilt-stamped image of Christopher Robin and Tigger on upper board, and Pooh on the spine. All edges gilt. This copy numbered 101 and signed. Justification page reads "This edition on Large Paper published in 1928, is limited to 250 numbered and signed copies." The words "on Large Paper" have been blacked out. No dust jacket. Some very light fading of the cloth on the spine, and minor shelf wear on the bottom edge and at spine ends. Overall an excellent copy. First American edition, limited to 250 copies and signed by Milne and Shepard.
