Description: Bound in pictoral dark blue cloth stamped in gold (the gilt is still bright). Only flaw is wear (scuffing) to spine ends. Endpaper professionally restored and book tightened. This is the true first edition of the book with "Published September 1910" on the copyright page. The book has a black and white drawing, "Hare Rode with Mescal" protected by a tissue guard (both are in fine condition). Laid in is a signed check from Zane Grey dated January 21, 1947, Also included is a facsimile for the first state dust jacket that fits the book perfectly. A great gift for the Western Fiction fan.
