The “Hands of Cantu” refers to hands of Don Vito Cantu, the finest horseman in New Spain, into whose hands is put custody of a young Toribio de Ibarra who Cantu turns into one of the finest horsemen in Mexico. Together they make a journey into the Southwest in search of Indians with Spanish horses and of the "true Quivera". A clean presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
