Zelazny, Roger. The Guns Of Avalon (Signed). Doubleday & Company, Inc, New York, 1972.

Price: US$547.60 + shipping

Condition: Near Fine

Description: First US edition likely second printing gutter code "O1" January 1973. Hardback book is tight and clean with lean. Boards beautifully sharp and clean. Spine very lightly bumped to ends, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with white edges. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels very tight and hardly read. Near fine condition. Jacket nice, with light rubbing to front panel, and front joint and fore edge. The spine is sunned, with crimping to ends. The rear white panel is clean with no marking. Overall grades very good. Signed by author to title page. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A very good but still attractive copy of this uncommon Amber title that is flat signed. Comes with great provenance as this volume was obtained from the estate of Roger Earnshaw, SF collector, well known at British conventions and fandom, who often attended author signings. Although we do not have an exact record of when this book was signed, other records show it was most likely at the Lunicon SF convention, held in Leeds 30 Jul-1 Aug 1993. A nice copy for the Amber collector's shelves.
