Quarter-bound in black cloth. Stamped "Return to Sun City Anthem Library" to blank FFE and to top and bottom page edges, although there are NO further library stampings or attachments. DJ Coded 0391 to rear flap. The 1993 Sydney Pollock film starred Jeanne Tripplehorn, Gene Hackman, Ed Harris, Holly Hunter, Hal Holbrook and Tom Cruise. 421 pp. Reduced from $77.

The binding is tight, he book and text are clean, without previous owners' markings and without remainder mark. Author signed on the half-title page. The DJ is Near Fine, showing a very light crinkle to upper back of spine. and very slight upper corner wear. Otherwise it's without tears, chipping, etc. Not price clipped and in new archival sleeve.

Description: SIGNED TRUE 1st ed/1st printing (with all first issue points) of THE FIRM by JOHN GRISHAM. Published in 1991 by Doubleday, book is FINE in olive green paper covered boards with black quarter cloth, gold gilt titles and bright gold endpapers (later printings had all black boards w/ either tan, white or light gold endpapers). Spine is tight and straight, boards very clean, all pages crisp and clean. There is some slight spotting along the text block edges. Mylar protected dust jacket is FINE as well - nice and bright w/ no rips, tears, etc. Original price of $19.95 intact. The author has signed w/out inscription on half-title page. A beautiful clean copy, SIGNED - very scarce in TRUE 1st/1st.

Second state, Number-line to # 1 (Doubleday, March, 1991) **UNREAD** Signed by Mr. Grisham on the Half-Title page, His name only, no dedication or inscription. Black 1/3 cloth over Black boards are Very Fine, Sharp Corners. (NOTE: This is the First Printing, Second State. The First State is an Olive Green color and is very much prone to fading. The Second State is all black and is a superior look. At some point during the first printing, the color was changed to all black. It is not known how many green boards or black boards were printed, just that the green were the first. (The second state is Black 1/3 cloth over black paper boards.) Spine is Very Fine, very smooth. Bright gold lettering is beautifully complete. Pages are clean, crisp with no writing, no folding. Page edges are very clean. Dust Jacket is Fine, Extremely little de-lamination, RARE in that this flaw is awful and found in this title over 99% of the time, very well preserved (EXTREMELY RARE IN THIS RESPECT)! This is the FIRST STATE dust jacket, with price of $19.95 intact. Protected in a clear, removable archival cover.
