It played an important role in the acceptance of the genre as serious literature. Octavo: 146 p. Original marbled paper-covered boards over a burgundy cloth spine, with a printed paper spine label. A duplicate spine label is tipped in on the rear spine label. Just a hint of edgewear, with some mild toning to the spine label. Near fine.
