Profusely illustrated in colour throughout. Some rubbing to the extremities, outer hinges rubbed with the outer front hinge starting at top and foot and tender, but still nice copy in an attractive binding.

Original boards, with front board heavily tanned (browned) at front edge. Bottom edges heavily worn. Front/back edges worn at the corner areas. Top boards with three worn spots. Leather torn at top of spine, an inch. Spine ends worn. Legible spine lettering. Bottom front cover with 3 rubbed areas with loss. Rear cover is rubbed, a few small areas of wear, few scratches. TEG. First ten pages have foxing and spotting but very clean thereafter. Illustrations bright. [A note: The signatures of Routledge and Evans on the limitation page are facsimiles. In the 1887 1st Edition of The Complete Collection of Pictures and Songs those same facsimiles appear, all 1250 of them. Exactly as they do in this Collection.
