Price: US$480.00 + shipping

Condition: Fine

Description: First Printing. Signed by the author to a laid-in decorative bookplate. The book appears unread and is fine, but for the slightest tapping to the top corners. Binding square and tight. The fragile paper dust jacket -- now protected by a removable Brodart archival cover -- is easily very good+, with only light rubbing/edgewear, causing a few tiny 1/8" edge tears, and a small puncture near the rear panel -- all professionally repaired. Clean and bright, a very sharp collectible copy of a rather scarce early Updike work. Winner of the National Book Award. Please be sure to check out the other John Updike titles in our inventory. We ship all of our books bubble-wrapped in sturdy, very well-padded boxes, so they are guaranteed to arrive in the exact same condition as when they left.
