Dust jacket has light toning and fading and mild edge wear with a few chips and small tears. Price shows $2.00. No medal on the dust jacket. Dust jacket is in a new protective Brodart cover. Book is also in very good condition. Boards have some wear along the top edges. Corners are gently bumped. Spine is tight and square. Pages are clean and crisp with minimal handling wear. Inscribed "to the Lenox Library Association, Elizabeth Coatsworth, March 27th 1931" on the first free end page. Ffep also has a small bookshop label. No other writing or marks. No funky odors. 1931 Newbery Medal winner.
