Near fine jacket with very minor wear to edges, except for the fact that the spine is faded to a lighter shade.

An excellent very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout and without previous owner's marks. The top edge a touch faded. Complete with the very lightly rubbed dustwrapper that remains without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£4.95 to the bottom of the front flap). Inscribed by the author in black ink on the title page "John Fowles / Lyme Regis, 1997". The Aristos is a personal philosophical exposition on the nature of humanity and modern life, inspired by the work of the 5th century BCE philosopher Heraclitus.
