Norton, Andre (editor). SPACE SERVICE .. The World Publishing Company, Cleveland and New York, 1953.

Price: US$250.00 + shipping

Description: Octavo, cloth. First edition. Signed on the title page by Norton. Collects ten stories by Bernard I. Kahn (two contributions), H. B. Fyfe (two contributions), Walt Sheldon, Theodore R. Cogswell, Gordon R. Dickson, J. A. Winter, Raymond Z. Gallun and C. M. Kornbluth. A fine copy in very good to nearly fine dust jacket (with four-color illustration by Virgil Finlay) with just a bit of rubbing at lower spine end and front corner tips and 10 mm closed tear at upper spine end with some associated faint creases. The jacket illustration is brilliant and there is no sunning to the spine panel. The jacket is 5 mm too tall for the book, so probably came from another copy. (#162246)
