Hardcovers, black, white and grey marbled paper covered boards with cream spines. The set is limited to 525 copies, with this copy being numbered 146 on the third front endpaper of volume one, below which is the signature "John O'Hara". In addition, each volume is protected by a light, clear plastic wrap, of the same quality as a dust jacket protector. The books feel as though they have never been opened. The cardboard slipcase is clad in a black, white and grey mottled paper which shows some wear at the corners. On its spine is a paper label bearing the title, author's name and the name of the publisher. All in all, the set is in fine condition in a near fine slipcase.
