From the author's retained stock, inscribed by him on the front free endpaper, "Ted Hughes 1975". First trade edition (first issued as Spring Summer Autumn Winter by the Rainbow Press the previous year). "Right from the start he is dressed in his best - his blacks and his whites. / Little Fauntleroy - quiffed and glossy, / A Sunday suit, a wedding natty get-up, / Standing in dunged straw . . ."
