Near Fine, with light fading to cloth at spine, several indents to rear cover, light shelf wear. A lovely edition of Shakepeare's Sonnets, presented by the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, printed in calligraphy. "Francis Meres, a contemporary of Shakespeare, tells us that when first written the Sonnets were circulated "among his private friends," and it seems most appropriate that they should be offered once again in a hand-written form."
