One of the three editors of Oz Magazine.Reference: Physick 359 (81) Proof of the frontispiece to Procreant Hymn by E. Powys Mathers, Number 37 of the publications of the Golden Cockerel Press, 1926. Physick also states that there was a numbered edition of 15 which Gill had priced at £1.1 shilling.

Description: Eric Gill copper etching titled Earth Receiving Printed in 1926, it is on hand made laid, signed and numbered 3 of an edition of 25. Framed. Not examined out of frame but appears to be in good clean condition and not laid down. Physick states that Gill did an edition of 25 numbered proofs. There is another version (Physick 863) made in an edition of 15, size 4.5 x 3.5 inches. I am happy to take the print out of the frame for a condition report if requested.
