A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth faded to the spine and edge of the rear board. The contents, with a previous owner's circular embossed stamp to the bottom of the half title and the unavoidable toning to the war-time economy paper-stock are clean throughout. Complete with the rubbed and dusty price-clipped dustwrapper that darkened to the spine and otherwise without loss or tears. Signed by Roald Dahl in black ink on the front endpaper.
