Description: Apparently president of the US Theodore Roosevelt wasn’t a teddy-bear, he was a bloody hunter. This is a book where he meticulously describes his passion adding 49 photo evidences of his sins. Also the autobiography bears a later handwritten author’s inscription: “Inscribed for R. A. Bower with the best wishes of Theodore Roosevelt. Feb. 10th 1916”. The Person of the addressee is unclear. Belonged to Andrew S. Supplee, Morris Parrish and Subinso do. All 3 ex-librises can be found on the end paper. Text in English. 8vo. XI+369 pp. 22,3x15,3 cm. 49 photo plates with description, complete. 3 paper ex-libris, paste down. Publisher brown cloth binding with marvelous golden embossing and gilded top edge. Few little stains on the cover. Comes with a custom made slipcase, scratched and discolorated. Otherwise fine condition.
