Description: 210 pages. First limited edition, Number 11 of 50 copies printed on Virgil paper and signed by Williams on a special limitation page at the beginning of the book. Second state of this 1st printing with the title page on a stub because the publisher recalled the edition because it was issued with an incorrect copyright notice. Fine book with a touch of toneing to the spine in a near fine publisher's slipcase with slight wear to the top set of corners. A beautiful copy!

A touch rubbed on the spine, easily near fine in very good cardboard slipcase with rubbing and small tears. Although not called for, this copy is Signed by the author. Reportedly only about 50 copies of the first issue were printed. This issue is exceptionally scarce, and especially so signed.

Description: A handsomely rebound signed limited edition in full burgundy morocco leather stamped in gilt, marbled endpapers, number 6 of fifty copies printed on Virgil paper and signed by Tennessee Williams on the colophon page. This was Paul Bowles copy, signed by him and with the word Tangier written by him on the front preliminary page. Slight aging to contents, else fine in a fine custom-made linen clamshell case.
