Mr. Morrison was Stegner's tennis partner as well as director of Harvard's creative writing program. He was also director of the legendary Breadloaf Writers Conference for many years. Kay was Robert Frost's secretary. Wonderful association copy, as it was Morrison who hired Stegner away from Wisconsin and gave him his first job at Harvard. 231 pp.
