Description: This is a first edition in wrapper published by Faber in 1948. Boards are bright and clean with very little shelfwear. There is a brown stain to the bottom of the pastedown and front free endpaper (see photo). Wrapper is unclipped and has no tears or loss but does have a small mark to the bottom of the front. Signed and inscribed by author to front free endpaper. (8)
