Description: First English edition (first American edition, English issue), limited to 250 numbered copies signed by Conrad, this copy being 97. 178 pp. 8vo. SIGNED and numbered Conrad title. This English edition was actually printed in the U.S. Doubleday Page produced 500 copies, sending half of them to Heinemann for the English edition. This little-known Conrad title consists of the prefaces that he wrote, generally for the Dent editions of 1917 and for the "Sun-Dial" edition of his works. Of his limited-signed editions, this is one with the fewest copies.
