Description: folio. [ff. 32]. 9 colour lithographs, 8 silkscreens & 1 lithograph with screenprint. Uncut in original quarter red morocco, sheets of brushed aluminum mounted on sides, digital clock on upper cover. First Edition, Limited to 250 copies (+ 30 Authors copies) on Rives, signed by Kruger and King. This is the sixth of the Artists and Writers Series published by the Library Fellows of the Whitney Museum. The lithographs were printed by Maurice Sánchez at Derrière LÉtoile Studios, and the the silkscreens were printed by Pinwheel, New York. The text was set by hand in Century Schoolbook and printed at A.Colish under the supervision of Jerry Kelly. This artists book combines Kings short story about the perception and experience of time with Krugers overlaid images of horses and riders. The images contain a small photograph of a hand holding a stopwatch punctuated by one or two words which together spell "Time aint got nothing to do with how fast you can count". The brushed stainless steel cover of the book incorporates a digital clock to track the readers own time but the battery has now run out.
