Description: First edition. Cloth and papercovered boards with printed paper spine label. Corners worn, soiling on the boards, a near very good copy lacking the uncommon dust jacket. Autobiography which was ghost-written by the award-winning short story writer and novelist Katherine Anne Porter, preceding her first book under her own name by a year. Porter contended that she didn't write the book, but there is evidence to the contrary. An interesting copy, with a single leaf printed both sides laid in revealing the subject (and supposed author) of the book to be Mae Tiam Hock Franking.
