I wouldn't even have remembered the day myself except that the 22nd of April happens to be my wife's natal day as well, so of course she doesn't permit me to pass it over." Signed large and bold in full. First impressions of the first edition bore blank endpapers, while most copies such as this example bear partly-color pictorial endpapers.
