Description: The Bodley Head 1969, First Edition, first impression. Booker prize shortlisted, signed bookplate donated by author to the Sussex Heritage Trust. Near Fine with some foxing to top of textblock and edge of fep, very light shelfwear, in VG+ unclipped dustjacket with 10mm closed tear to top back corner, 5mm closed tear to top front, tiny chip to top front corner, light soiling to edges of foldovers, and faint linear mark to back . An attractive tight clean copy which appears to be unread, presented in a clear removable protective sleeve.

Description: Mrs Eckdorf in O'Neill's Hotel, William Trevor, Bodley Head, 1969, Signed First Edition First Impression A first edition first impression of the first of William Trevor's nominations for the Booker Prize, in later edition jacket and signed to the title page by the author. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and bright and the endpapers and pages clean without marks or tears. Foxing to the top edge and small light stain to top off first blank page. The later clipped dust jacket, protected in a clear removable cover, is bright with staining to the top edges only. Will be despatched wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.

Description: First Edition (first printing) - this copy signed by the author on the title page. 8vo. 304pp. Blue boards lettered in gold at the spine. Spine ends and corner tips lightly rubbed, and with a single tiny indentation to the head of the upper board. A touch of light uneven browning to the endpapers and pastedowns. A very crisp copy in price-clipped dust wrapper, with some minor dust soiling, a small splash of staining, and some rubbing and fraying to the spine ends and corner tips. The wrapper in internally reinforced with masking tape. Inkstamp of literary agency R.Harben to the front free endpaper. The author's fifth novel, and his first Booker Prize-shortlisted effort. Supplied together with an uncorrected proof copy of the first edition, in the publisher's yellow card wrappers. The edges and the fore edge margin of two or three preliminary leaves lightly spotted. Very good.
