Description: The spine strip has light blue cloth with black letters. The boards are darker blue; the front one has the author's monogram. Endpapers and top end of the text block are blue. The other two ends of the text block are foxed; some of the foxing runs onto the front margins of a few pages. The author signed with S folllowed by his last name. The top and bottom edges of the spine strip are a little darkened. DJ: The front flap has the publisher's 0170. Six closed tears are 1/4 in. to 1 in. Besides nicks, there are 8 chips, 1/4 in. to 3/8 in. The spine panel has darkened. Scrapes (by an insect?) are numerous and mostly small. Scans e-mailed upon request.
