GARDNER, John. Mickelsson's Ghosts (Signed Association Copy). Alfred A. Knopf, New York, 1982.

Price: US$350.00 + shipping

Description: First edition. Hardcover. First printing. The last book to be published during Gardner's life, a massive novel that includes black and white photographs by Joel Gardner. A tight very good copy with foxing to the page edges and to the boards as well in a close to near fine dust jacket with some minor wear and some foxing. Signed and very warmly inscribed by Gardner to poet Linda Pastan. The inscription mentions Bread Loaf which was a writer's conference that both were instructors at. An uncommon book signed as Gardner died in September 1982 and the book came out in June of the same year. A nice association copy.
