The books and slipcase are in near fine condition. The slipcase is lightly rubbed. Limited to five thousand sets. Signed by Herb Ritts in the year of publication on the front free endsheet of the "Men" volume. Herb Ritts was a photographer whose subjects ranged from Madonna and Cindy Crawford to the Dalai Lama and Kofi Annan. Ritts, like George Platt Lynes, depended on clean, graphic compositions that often portrayed models and celebrities in the visual language of classical Greek sculpture.
